Whilst 4 winds centre remains closed, the team are currently working from home and is continuing to support people and the service is available to anyone living in Cardiff and the Vale; no referral is needed for accessing our general support service or our zoom groups, please just get in touch. We also operate a Gp referral only service, offering 1:1 guided self-help support to the Cardiff City and South Gp cluster (Grangetown and Butetown). Other providers operate the same service in other parts of Cardiff and the Vale.
Despite the centre being closed we are still busy providing people with email/telephone and online support, including the 1:1 work we do. We also have several zoom wellbeing groups/peer support groups running during the week: 2pm Mondays – Reading/watching/listening group
11.30am Wednesdays- Women only zoom 2pm Thursdays – General Zoom session including some activities such as a monthly quiz, relaxation sessions, etc 12.30pm Fridays lunchtime time group with optional cooking activity
Please contact us if you would like any more information on the above and please share with those who might need this support. We can still be contacted via our usual telephone and email and are always happy to support new people/for them to join zoom meetings, etc.
I have also attached details of the latest DICE community courses for adults with experience of mental health issues - please see noticeboard. If you require any further information about/from 4Winds please do get in touch.
